Matt Llewellyn, professionally known as "Matt Llew" is the founder of Dark Horse Management, a Los Angeles–based company shaping a new wave of producers and recording artists across hip-hop and R&B.

Dark Horse Management boasts an impressive roster of producers behind multiple Billboard-charting records, establishing itself as a consistent creative force on major releases including Young Thug and Future's “Money on Money”, Swae Lee's “Flammable”, Lil Uzi Vert’s “Amped,” Rod Wave’s “Call Your Friends,” Kodak Black’s “Pistolz and Pearlz,” Future's “Press the Button”, Shoreline Mafia's "Wood, Wire Buffs" and YoungBoy Never Broke Again’s “Bitch Let’s Do It.”

 

 Matt Llewellyn manages John Mackk, who was previously signed to 10K Projects and who has since built significant commercial momentum, including a #3 debut on the Billboard charts for "Pose for Me" and a #1 position on the TikTok/Billboard Top 50 viral charts. Llewellyn also manages EMPIRE artist MBNel, who is hailed as one of the most influential Filipino hip-hop artists in the U.S. and who is currently touring across Southeast Asia. In 2019, Llewellyn  managed recording artist Vince Ash, overseeing his artist development and signing to Interscope/Goliath Records, founded by Paul Rosenberg, manager of Eminem and former CEO of Def Jam Recordings. In 2018, Matt managed Los Angeles rapper Frostydasnowmann, with whom he remains close. Frostydasnowmann is known for pioneering the distinctive "Blueface-style" rap approach well before Blueface rose to mainstream popularity. Matt managed Frostydasnowmann throughout his signing and release of multiple projects and singles, helping guide his career and musical development.  Frostydasnowmann has earned two RIAA Gold records for the songs "Ya Digg" and "Love Letter." 

He manages a producer roster that includes 1mtha1, Landers (co-produced Rod Wave's 2x Platinum single "Call Your Friends"), McCoy (co-produced Future's platinum song "Too Fast"), Wolf and Beatzbyrrose, who is affiliated with Future’s camp and recognized by Southside as “next up." Beatzbyrrose has recent credits alongside artists such as Future, Young Thug, Lil Baby, Trippie Redd, Swae Lee, 42 Dugg, Ken Carson and Ty Dolla $ign.

Matt Llewellyn has also co-represented several notable recording artists as a music attorney working under the guidance of Billboard Top Music Lawyer Joe Halbardier at Halbardier A.P.C, including Big Sad 1900 and 03 Greedo during his collaborative project with renowned producer Helluva on "Hella Greedy." In 2023, Llewellyn represented 310babii during his breakout run, including his signing with EMPIRE and during the multi-platinum success of "Soak City" and subsequent release of "Rock Your Hips."  In 2024, Llewellyn represented Peysoh and Wallie the Sensei on their featured appearances on Kendrick Lamar’s Grammy winning GNX album and helped facilitate Wallie’s deal at Cactus Jack Records with Travis Scott.
